The Divi Southwinds Beach Resort offers guests a choice of two restaurants. Joslyn's Café is a casual beachside bar which serves light lunches daily. The Bajan Breeze Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner by the pool and features international cuisine with fresh produce and Bajan treats. The breakfast buffet is a guest favourite, with both tropical fruits and made-to-order hot dishes. On thursday night at the Bajan Breeze there is a popular theme night which offers guests live local music and Barbados recipes. The flying fish is not to be missed! There are several meal plans available at the resort which must be purchased in advance, and are non-refundable.

There are numerous facilities to suit everyone including three freshwater swimming pools, two restaurants, including an open-air beachfront cafe, full service activities coordinator, small mini-mart with groceries, guest laundry facilities, poolside lounge, children's playground, tennis courts, on-site fitness room with equipment, beauty salon and internet access. Divi Southwinds has partnered with HighTide Watersports to offer scuba diving at dive sites surrounding Barbados.

Beach Villas are one bedroom suites located on a half mile of white sandy beach. Each one bedroom suite offers one king-sized bed with a queen size sofabed in the separate living area. Suites include a fully equipped kitchen, television with vcr, air-conditioning, and in-room safe. The beach villas have either a private patio or balcony with full ocean views.

One bedroom suites are a short walk from the beach just behind the St. Lawrence Gap, and offer spacious private balconies or patios with pool or garden views.

Two bedroom suites have one king-sized bed, two twin beds, and a queen size sofabed in the separate living area. Two bedroom suites have one full bathroom and a half bathroom. Suite amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, television, air-conditioning, and in-room safe.
